The Tangled Info website was created and is maintained by Dale K. Brearcliffe. Its purpose is to document my academic interests, past and future. I am currently finishing my master's thesis in Computational Social Science (CSS) at George Mason University. My thesis is titled, "Parallelization of Entity-Based Models in Computational Social Science: A Hardware Perspective." I examine how hardware, the underlying foundation of any computational simulation, affects modeling when you are attempting to scale up using parallel computing.
